Terms of Service

You must use UniGPT only in compliance with applicable law. If you are under the age required to form a binding agreement where you live, you may use the service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of UniGPT does not violate school rules, application requirements, or academic integrity obligations that apply to you.

UniGPT is an AI-assisted essay review service for college admissions writing. The service may provide grades, inline annotations, revision suggestions, and other feedback intended to help you improve your draft.

UniGPT is not a human admissions counselor, law firm, or academic institution. Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific application context, so you should review and evaluate all feedback independently before relying on it.

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your account is being used unlawfully, fraudulently, abusively, or in a way that harms the service or other users.

You may not use UniGPT to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to use or share.
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the site, infrastructure, or security of the service.
• Use the service to generate unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or harmful material.

You retain ownership of the essays, prompts, and other content you submit to UniGPT. You grant UniGPT a limited license to host, process, transmit, and analyze that content as necessary to operate the service and provide feedback to you.

You represent that you have all rights needed to submit your content and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.

UniGPT currently offers one free essay review. Additional access may require a paid subscription. The current paid plan advertised on the website is an automatically renewing monthly subscription priced at $29 per month unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as merchant of record for purchases made through the checkout. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's checkout and payment terms as presented during the transaction.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal made available inside your UniGPT account. If you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated by Paddle.

All purchases are final. UniGPT does not offer refunds for subscription charges, including partial billing periods, change of mind, failure to use the service, or dissatisfaction with AI output.

This no-refund policy is part of the basis of the offering because UniGPT already provides a free essay review before purchase, which allows users to evaluate the service before subscribing.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

We collect and process account information, essay content, usage information, and billing-related metadata needed to operate UniGPT, authenticate users, provide essay feedback, maintain subscription status, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability.

Payment card details are processed by Paddle rather than stored by UniGPT. Authentication services are provided through Clerk, and AI processing for essay analysis is provided through Google Gemini or successor models used by the service.

We may store submitted essays and generated feedback in order to provide account history, repeat access, and service operations. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce these terms, protect the service, or complete business operations through service providers acting on our behalf.

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of UniGPT at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will always be error-free, secure, or suitable for every use case.

UniGPT and its software, branding, site design, and service materials are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service in accordance with these terms, no rights are granted to you.

UniGPT is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of output.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UniGPT will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, admissions outcomes, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UniGPT's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to UniGPT through Paddle in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make a material change, we may provide notice by updating this page or by other reasonable means. Continued use of UniGPT after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
